At TKT, minimizing our impact on the planet is at the heart of everything we do. With 80% of ocean pollution coming from land, I’m dedicated to reducing waste and harmful chemicals to help protect our oceans and environment. Our choice of sustainable materials, including 100% organic cotton certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), plays a crucial role in this mission.

Ethical labour is a core value. We partner with manufacturers accredited by the Fair Wear Foundation, ensuring safe, dignified, and fairly paid work for everyone involved.

Packaging

I'm proud to use Hero home-compostable postage bags made from cornstarch and PBAT, materials that break down fully within 90-120 days when composted at home or in your garden. Please don’t throw them in the bin, as they release methane when landfill-bound. Shipping labels are also fully compostable and can stay on the bags!

Other bits

• Business cards come from The Environmental Printing Company, printed on 100% recycled paper with vegetable-based inks.
• I use EcoEnclose recycled tape (with plans to switch to compostable tape when stocks run out).
• Where possible, I source market items second-hand - my gazebo and many decorations are reused.
• I also repurpose old cardboard and paper for thank you notes and handcrafted clothing tags.
