There’s so much meaning behind the message. This is why I’m dedicated to protecting our oceans - because the future of all life, not just ours, depends on it. Individual choices matter, but they’re not enough without bold policies and systemic change. When we’re informed and united, our collective voice is even more powerful and can push leaders and industries to act for the ocean’s future. Why should we care about mangroves?
Not often the prettiest of places, but mangroves are one of the most valuable ecosystems in the world.  Unfortunately, they're in a vulnerable state globally, but particularly in Australia. They're at threat due to urban expansion and agriculture (especially Queensland, which are experiencing large-scale mangrove loss along the Great Barrier Reef coast).  See the last slide on how you can protect these vital habitats.
